FRP Van Bodies

FRP (Fibre-Reinforced Polymer) Van bodies have alot of advantages over more modern Aluminum and Fiberglass bodies.  But they also have some disadvantages.

Because they do not need as many vertical posts there are less rivets/connectors on the walls giving you a smoother/flatter surface for graphics or images.  Also, if the unfortunate accident happens, FRP is normally more inexpensive to repair than other types of van bodies.  

The downside to FRP is these types of bodies can absorb moisture over time, causing your body to weigh more.
